The Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Program
As a first step, the driver or worker will need to find a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). A SAP is a certified individual who guides the violator through the evaluation process and helps them make a safe return to work. We offer the SAP program designed to provide this assistance.

Violation:A violation occurs when a truck driver or any safety-sensitive worker tests positive in a drug or alcohol test, indicating the use of these substances while on duty. This not only jeopardizes the individual's employment but also risks the safety of all those involved. |
Evaluation:Our SAP will meet with you for a comprehensive evaluation. They will inquire about the circumstances of the violation, including any drug or alcohol use, while also reviewing any related test results or other documents. |
Treatment Recommendation:
Post-evaluation, the SAP will suggest a course of action tailored to your situation. If necessary, they may recommend a treatment program which could involve counseling or rehabilitation to address the substance abuse.
Education and Follow-up. We believe in equipping individuals with knowledge and resources. Our SAP will educate you on the risks of drug and alcohol use, its impact on job performance, and safety. A plan for follow-up testing and monitoring will be put into place to ensure adherence to the recovery path.
